RUSTEM GALITCH graduated from the Maly Theater School (Moscow) - Shchepkin Higher Theater School, Department of Artistic Actor words".


For 12 years he taught at the Department of Stage Speech by Shchepkinsky schools.
Performer of Russian classical poetry and prose.


A special place in the actor’s repertoire is occupied by programs dedicated to the period of the Silver and Golden Ages of Russian poetry.
In Moscow he worked as a host of television shows and radio programs, and also performed poetry programs at the Literary Cabaret.
Since 2000 he has lived permanently in New York. Famous Russian-speaking theater audience as an author and performer literary and musical performances based on Pushkin, Lermontov, Bunin, Pasternak, Yesenin, Mayakovsky and others.
How the author and presenter became known to a wide audience broadcasts on Russian-language radio and television channels in New York.


In 2005 he organized the “Theater of Poetry and Music of Rustem Galitch” in New York,  under whose auspices many talented Russian-speaking New York performers of various genres.
The theater’s creative baggage includes many musical and poetic programs, performances and hundreds of concerts played. Staging performance “And heaven opened for love” based on the poem by M.Yu. Lermontov's "Demon" was called by the press a cultural event in Russian-speaking New York. The performance was performed in different parts of the world more than 70 times. In recent years, the Rustem Galitch Theater of Poetry and Music has significantly expanded its geography.
Rustem Galitch's productions were a great success not only in the USA, but also in many cities in Russia, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Estonia, Latvia, Germany, Italy and other European countries.
Rustem Galitch was not only the leading performer in the projects of his theater, but also the director of many works performed at philharmonic venues in Russia: the program “1812”, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Borodino, “Your Acquaintance - Sergei Yesenin”, “Singers of Estonia : Raymond Valgre and Igor Severyanin", "Ball of Poets", "In Paris" by stories by I.A. Bunin, “Gypsies” according to Pushkin and others.


Rustem Galitch participated in productions for several seasons Metropolitan Opera in the opera performances “The Nose” and “Boris Godunov".
Currently, the actor tours extensively around the world with his musical and poetic programs and performances, popularizing the genre of artistic reading.
Rustem Galitch's productions are distinguished by a constant search for new forms in combination of the poetic word with various genres of performing and visual arts - opera or choral singing, symphonic music, ballet, organ, romances, pictorial installations, documentary chronicles.
In addition to the projects in which Rustem Galitch realizes his performing potential, as a teacher of stage speech, he conducts master classes on speech technique and artistic expression.
For the last year he has been actively teaching various courses on stage speech at the International Workshop of the Sounding Word “Intonation”. He often accepts invitations to be a jury member of various creative competitions.
